Anybody bet on this race yesterday ? Took ages to settle and my winning matched lay bet just dissapeared.
Phoned and was told bets were cancelled but could not explain why.
It would be interesting to know if there were punters who had losing matched bets and were refunded?

It was probably a late suspend,if so all bets placed after the off time would have been voided.
A couple of years ago I laid an odds on shot at Delaware for £70,I watched the race live and my lay was beaten out of sight,but there was a tote malfunction,so Betfair voided all the bets on that race.
Also sometimes when there has been a pile up and a number of horses fall or are brought down,the stewards have also been known to void the race.

Yes Frank RA that is what might have happened but I phoned Betfair again and still no explanation as to why
bet(s) cancelled.Still a suspicion that if I had a losing bet would the money have just slid into Betfairs coffers.
As I would not be any wiser that bets cancelled as no announcement.
Havent had any response from other punters though . Losing bets withs money refunded would help.
