8 at 2.4. I'm a little worried that there's a lack of pace in this field which won't suit this closer, but if 6 and 4 can set reasonable early fractions, then this class dropper should take them on the stretch. I'm also a bit suspicious about the class drop and trainer Dale Bennett's poor record moving horses from turf to dirt, but all things considered, this should be the class of the field. |

3 at 4.0. Newcommer from barn with good first time starter booking in a weak field. Intent shown by jockey booking of Danny Centeno. Layed 8 at 5.5. Think this has had its chances and failed to impress. Don't see any signs that it improves today. Could be wrong of course. |
