I am sorry to learn that you are unhappy with the management of US racing.
I have been in touch with the team that manages these ,markets and they have informed me that after investigating your claims, and they do appreciate your experience with the markets, that they are happy with the management of these markets and do not see any cause to change their existing practices at this moment in time.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. Or maybe our FAQs will come in handy?
We love to tweet too; find us @BetfairHelpdesk.
Thanks,"

... they do not see any cause to change their existing practices ...
BUT THEY DID CHANGE THEIR PRACTICES RECENTLY !
the market close was never so far away from the jump before
so their answer should have been
we do not see any cause to go back to the way that practices always were before
THEY changed and did not advise they were going to change or for what reason
so can we be sure that the "managers of these markets" are not recently just simply using the loyal bf bets to offset these against other markets out there to their financial advantage
if so, then punter vs punter is no longer the practice on these markets
why does a market need "managing" ?
someone places a bet, someone takes the opposing side, that takes care of itself
all management should be doing is - ensure the market is fully closed when the field is despatched (and as close to jump time as possible)
well that's the problem then ... they do not see any cause to change their existing practices ... BUT THEY DID CHANGE THEIR PRACTICES RECENTLY !the market close was never so far away from the jump beforeso their answer should have been we do not see
hi guys ... finger lakes R6 market stayed open & strong right to the jump ... after the number 6 horse fully loaded

sorry Razor I'm not trying to annoy you .. but your last comment doesn't make any sense
when a horse breaks thru and disrupts the start of a race quite often they unload every horse and the jump is then 5 mins after the post starting time
once a BF market is closed they do not re-open it
I just had a look at LAD R2 and 6 of the 7 runners had loaded with the market still open (the horse playing up behind the stalss - a 1st starter was rearing etc and eased late - but went on to win the race)
so maybe the early close is still happening but at certain tracks - but LAD jumped after scheduled post time but they bet the markets with 6 of the 7 runners in the stalls
the video on BF is the same as ESPN as I thought we might be getting a slower feed but the sync is the same
and all race videos are in the transmission delay zone of 2 to 5 seconds (6 seconds in a race is about a half furlong) so they close early some times as the race is imminent in real time
I think they are getting better and on the LAD race this morning i stick with that but I agree with you it was awful for the past month

Yes they do re-open races but don't bother most of the time as they obviously do not care.
Yes the suspending early since the third week of May has been and continues to be very poor service and detrimental to the US racing markets on the exchange.
Carry on.

please update your opinions in line with the trend of the past 3 days guys
detrimental to the US markets is continuing to represent last months behaviour with the current (at least the past 3 days) situation
please review again guys and comment on the current situation
imo the complaints have been heeded
lets hope it continues for all our sakes

another great morning anfd I've watched 12 races and punted on them all with an open market
they are closing when a field of 7 has 6 loaded ... the most recent at EMD a perfect example .. the 4 horse playing up behind the stalls and market is still open
I didn't have a bet in FL3 so I take your word on it razor and I'm sorry to hear that
maybe I am just lucky .. and I certainly myself wouldn't be telling anyone to ... stop or start .. gambling .. each to their own
you are asking a bit too much to 'get out' of positions so late in the close period imo .. someone has to hold the opposing bet to you .. maybe they are also trying to get out of their positions when you are happy with your bet .. swings and slides
you can try and good fortunes with it ...

yes we're asking too much to manage the markets as they had been managed for the past 15 years. maybe everyone else complaining about it as most recent threads are complaining about early suspensions are just from the unlucky?????

I was involved in PRX 5 but put my bets on last night (I operate out of Oz so I get up at 5.30am here) which had me just looking at PRX 7 live - I didn't play that race
I take your word for it .. you and I know Parx are a law unto themselves and often run whole races one whole behind schedule for whatever reason ... I would feel sorry for anyone trying to mage that market off the video
I'm on board when EMD, LAD, PEN and CT kick off and I am able to manage my bets on those tracks
I will leave you guys to your personal misery then .. it ticked me off that not only are you stating a situation .. that you are trying to get a gorund swell of people to stop their investments in the US
the markets are still very liquid .. the ones I punt in .. so you have not affected my plays
I will leave you to your own plays .. whether you can get your bets covered or not
are you trading I wonder .. and laying/backing multiple horses in the race ... and trying to get the best of everything ... or are you taking a set position on a horse based on your study of the race ?
