Best lay I have seen ages that 1 at PENN, however when it looks to good, it usually is. However on this race market go it well wrong,
never looked like winning. Deffo missed one there. |

they don't on sloppy tracks at PEN alien .. we had a guy on here 3-4 weeks ago on a sloppy track and he was banging them in at 25/1 and 48/1
the traders like razor would have cleaned up he could have bought at $3 and sold at evens .. great race for the traders |

well the fave won the 2nd at PEN ..
but not for me ... the pattern has been set imo ... I had an inkling towards the #7 in PEN 3 but it has not experienced the sloppy so who knows i'll prob wait till LAD opens up and see the status there all the best |

dunno where that sloppy track PEN guy is today
but he loved it when the turf was off and they switched back to the sloppy dirt ... like this PEN 3 ive had as good a look as I can ... but cant see at all what he might have done here |

thought for the day
where a horse is ... in its preparation (ie 3rd up after 60days ... 2up after a 30day freshen etc) is as important as 'how' it races all the best today |

LAD 4 coming up ... a 5f maiden on the turf
never seen so many runners with so many starts and failed to produce a win no interest for me those types but you look into the race and you find a couple that are having their first start and they are mature aged horses ... why do they bother you think ... surely they have shown them something to consider pushing on for a race start rather than heading to the breeding barn #6 is a 5yo mare .. first ever race start #5 is a 4yo filly (we call them mares in Oz) .. first ever race start neither are in a winning type stable just rambling .. better races to follow for sure |

i'll have an each-way interest in the #2 Porter Central at Presque next up
the 6yo gelding's dam ... is by a fave old Oz stallion from the 80's ... who travelled to Europe at the time to place in the Arc - Strawberry Road they freshened this one last start and jumped him up to a $40k ALW so better suited here you would think in a $5 claimer it's all a gamble though |

10-4-5 porter couldn't make any impression tight along the rail tho the #4 squeezed through there nicely to chase the wide winner

hi PlaceP .. yes an interesting booking with Gallardo ... they'd been spacing his runs and today was his first time back on the dirt with all turf runs this campaign ... will be interested to see if they move it back to the turf next start

I can't get involved in the next at PEN2 either .. the fave is another with the mare spacing her races and the work while ok is about the same as she's been doing before and not winning ... not that the others hold any of my attention either .. fave is back in class can win but a watch for me
