Hi guys, sorry to annoy you,but I have a minor problem which I can not figure out. I placed a bet 6 minutes before the delta downs 22.02 tonight. The bet was 50 quid on number 10 to win.the odds I got matched with were 2.28.=64 to 50 quid. I then watched the horses go to post and load up in the stalls. There were no withdrawals or no scratches. The horse I backed won and I expected to be paid 64 quid less commission at 5% The winnings I received where 59 quid less commission of 2.77 I can not understand this. Can someone explain this to me. Is there a reason why this could happen as the average odds box is not ticked, and 64 quid was matched to my 50 quid. If there are new rules I except them, but I do not want to ring up Betfair and have my facts wrong. If anyone can explain why this would happen I would be very pleased. Thanks for taking time to read my post.i know it is small money but sometimes I place some big bets and it is important that I know the reason why this would happen. Thanks again if you can help.
There was 2 Non Runners. Did Betfair only take them out after u had ur bet? This is the only thing that could have happened.

no,i think that betfair were slow to take them out and then applied the deduction when they realized that they had been withdrawn, because the withdrawals were taken out before the horses went to post.SO if I am correct its betfairs mistake,as they applied the deduction after the withdrawal. All deductions are on prices taken prior to withdrawal, not after withdrawal. this is a violation of racing rules. my bet was placed after the withdrawals.

brass - Betfair deduct when they pull them out. Even though ur bet was on before the withdrawal the deduction comes into play. This has always been the rule on here.
