Indian point won by probably 2 lengths at a guess, but another horse was given the race in fact it's not in the top 3. Did it get booted out and for what reason if anyone knows?

lua, i watched the race, the 2 did something crazy coming out the stalls and interfered with a few horses i think quite badly

i was very very close to laying california chrome but opted for tonalist instead, not going to do a double lay, i did that earlier, without posting, and of course the second lay won

if that race was some poor race only stream on betfair that horses is booted i dont care either way backed a couple ranked outsiders didnt like the race to much im just stating that poor race that horse is gone u can bareley breath on a horse out there without geting bootied

amelia i agree with you but there was worse at the bc last year. they can't afford to just throw horses out when so much money has traded. and usually in play too, though not on here

Even that I backed the winner the rule was not applied there and for what reason ?.
Many winners and remember several who won by 20 L getting diq over it.

im glad he kept the race but should be like that everywere who cares if horse is knocked about half a stride is it really going to make that much diffence i dont think it does ppl might disagree but my opion every race u watch in america u almost have to wait 10 mins after the race to make sure u have won beacuse of the stewards

of course gambling keeps the sport going , but what has the volume or lack of volume of money gambled on a race got to do with sticking to the rules.

Money has nothing to do with result. Yes outcome on many other days would have been changed. But a banker front runner who in all honest did not stop those on the inside from winning as they made no ground on anyone and were priced up not to do so.
The best were way ahead and others made no ground. Right result in my view. And no i did not back the winner. I Backed Ziko a strong closer who made no ground at all.

i think there's just too much attention on these high profile races for them to overturn a result of that magnitude on the basis of something that might have happened, if something early on hadn't taken place. the worldwide attention on it (and essentially the money) makes them think twice. but yes it would probably have been chucked out in a lower grade race

There is a marker where you you have to stay in your draw position then after that you can move over if safe to do so .That is the rule .If you move over before the marker you are normally disq . and placed last.

There's not a set of rules just for claimers, allowance or stakes races it all comes under the one banner, wether the winner interfered with the fav or the complete outsider it makes no difference ,the damage was done and the winner should have been demoted to 4th
