I Opened an Account with Betamerica, that allows me to watch Belmont tonight,
Never had a bet with them yet, opened the account from the UK. |

I have an account with them. Very good. (having said that haven't used them for a while) At present I listen to the audio at Belmont from the track site.

Easier Stateside - If its a Tote Monopoly, there is less chance of them being Doped with a Stopper,
Alec Bird had 3 Big Antepost bets at Newmarket years ago, Tromos Gorytus Try My Best They were ALL got at, They Never raced again, Only the Bookies could profit. Years ago they were even throwing Capsules of Acid into the Racehorses boxes at the Racecourse stables, so the horses would stand on them, burn the sole of the hoof and go lame, And many years before that, they would get in the racehorses box and try and Crack their ribs, if they had Big liabilities. |
|
By:
I have to say Sid - it seems you've been doing this for a while pal.
Personally, I haven't a clue what goes on at some tracks. Compared to so I am a relative novice at this US racing - even though I have been on here over 10 years. |

I Like to see a stable winning with at least 10-15% of their runners,
I like to see them have won over the course, Proven on the going is important, fast dirt or sloppy, Not many horses make all in American turf races, it can take 14-21 days to recover from a dirt race, 2 dirt races = 3 turf races on Energy Expended, Some Trainers could Not get a Tiger to eat meat!, Hope some of these tit-bits help. |
|
By:
LOL - like the tiger.
|
|
By:
I find the going is the most important thing
I always look for cheeky workouts I agree recovery is important - however - some trainers are better at getting horses right than others. I tend to look hard at the opposition as well - if the horse is "recovering" (resting from previous races) but up against horses which I feel are much lesser I factor that in as well. I use to look hard at byer figures - but not anymore. Having said all this I just guess. ![]() |

Its nice to see a good track workout to know all is well,
But many of the Wealthier Owners and Trainers have their own Gallops/Racetrack to Semi-prepare the horses, |
