Good evening to everyone still here. |

By:
You know me already
![]() ![]() |
By:
trap 3 for £12 , to cover the first round tonight
By:
Evenin all, went in heavy on a 1.3 shot that got stuffed at Penn last night, my own fault really
By:
So I might pass on it for a while...
By:
lol, i laid the 2, gl
By:
evening NMR, I lost faith with penn a while back but we'll see, gl.
By:
i'm ok

By:
No surprises at Penn - excellent, 7/5 wins
By:
Don't think so onlooker.

By:
Good night at Keeneland Risky? Oh and Mike you're lucky you weren't here last night haha
By:
yes NMR tonight, though last year it caned me, so it is a tread with caution track
By:

By:
5 at haw is my lay

By:
I was here last night and nearly got caught on an outsider in the 2nd @ Penn.
It happens, but not for many many months for me. Always cover the evening exs @ Penn on Friday - thats why I get all the barmaids a drink 'cos I usually get it back ![]() |
By:
2 wins haw and 11 sun, so that;s good
![]() |
By:
Mike, I doff my hat to you for making it pay. easier said than done, even when just laying and i include myself in that
By:
WD Risky, if I was out tonight I wouldn't be home yet lol
By:
Indeed, been thinking about this greatly and even though I go through massive winning runs and fortune, think US stuff is costing me in the longrun
By:
Went out early and rushed back for the 22.44 Keeneland.
On a mission to build up my wedge. Laid T4 for £6 @ 100 |
By:
No surprises 7/5 shot wins.
Never quite understand why people try to pick winners - very difficult. Surely picking losers is easier and can be just as rewarding. Particular @ Penn |
By:
in a way i agree but eventually an outsider will hit you and then the discipline is hard to maintain
By:
laid 3 sun, gl
By:
Not for me Risky.
Served my apprenticeship, but like everyone do go on tilt occasionally, and it can be costly. My favs are Southwell and Aqueduct and Penn |
By:
and eventually that will put you off laying the bigger prices gradually more and more until you are like me and people laugh at you for always laying favourites

I will tell you now that i cannot remember the last time a Morning line 50/1 won @ Aqueduct.
I cannot remember the last time a ML 100/1 shot won in South Africa. Knowing that, if you have the time. the capital and the balls - you have ah earner every day of the week. Its called dedeication and discipline |
By:
when I lay i never like to lay more than 3.5, 4.5 at the very most so I see your logic Riaky.
By:
That looked scary for a while @ Sun WD
By:
5 won sun,
, totally agree on the discipline front, admire anyone who trully keeps it and makes a profit at this long term. much easier said than done. |
By:
Have a £500 hit at least once a month usually (sometimes more), but now know how to deal with it.
Will always have hits but trying to reduce the damage. About 120 bets a week @ £3 a go, so this helps to stabilise the ship. Greed is the enemy. |

By:
They have finally settled the last at Aqueduct. I lay long but as it happens most of my stake wasn't matched. I placed it comfortably before the off and I THINK it was matched before the off as well. Betfair are saying that most of it was matched in running. Which means that some chancer who backed my lay at about 100s has got away with it. I have only been robbed of a couple of quid so I can't be bothered to take it further but I bet if it had won ( and it was prominent early ) the person who tried it on ( if Bf are correct) would be screaming they had been done out of £200.
