PID race 3

got to be the #4 win and place for me here, shaped very nicely on debut and will be better for that, the extra 1/2 furlong should be ideal aswell to mow them down late. GL

After all the years on here Tod , you still seem shocked when a fave runs a stinker after drifting like a barge?

PID race 4

#2 interesting for me up in distance back to the mile, Barn had a nice winner in race 1 and is the least exposed of these lot, 5/2+ seems fair enough. GL

No just a blind man can see these faves in America being laid for chunks, and lo and behold they run a stinker or the jockey finds trouble or he blows the start.Dont take a rocket scientist to work out whats going on there does it.

to be fair to Tod which is not something I usually do !
The horse found trouble in running and was a reasonable favourite

I wasn't having a go at Tod just was surprised he seemed a bit shocked by it Happy

Must be a right pain in the aarse when you read the form well like he does and quite a few races are a bit bent.

We all know that it happens, the problem is too many people on here think it happens in almost every race from the amount of posts on bad/crooked rides on the Horse Racing Forum and in my view that just isn't the case.
I would agree in a lot of the lower class racing that a lot of "ill judged" rides occur but as I have posted on numerous occasions it is not compulsory to play the poor racing, so why do people...? Lack of discipline and respect for their money can be the only reasons.
Same as it has always been, play selectively and if you are any kind of judge you will make it pay.
