Black screen again today following on from last night.

It took them over a week to fix sound at Delaware and Evangeline, then we get sound for a 2 days, now the whole stream has gone.

I've been using that treetop if a track hasn't got video on their site, having to keep clearing cookies is a bit of a pain tho, I've had my limit end during a race a few times, trying to see through the pop up is quite exciting if you've laid one that's in front.

Just a black screen again for me tonight.

I was getting pictures intermittently last night but it's hardly satisfactory.
It's a pity because the US videos improved a lot about 3 years ago. Before that they were totally unreliable. They have been much better till recently when there was that problem with the sound at Delaware. However some new problem has obviously arisen while I was on holiday last week. Has their supplier changed ?

Another day of the blank screen today.

No service announcements, a number emails and still no reply to any of them, Betfair just aren't interested.

They have definitely changed their supplier. My supply of pictures is so unreliable I am now betting only on races that are on ATR. When they do work the picture is MUCH clearer than it was. I think somebody said they were much nearer to live as well. The old ones were way behind ATR.

I finally got a reply, they think it's fixed now.

The video isn't the biggest problem tho, as annoying as it is there are always going to be problems with feeds, the issue is Betfair's response to these issues and their attitude towards customers. The last few weeks have been the worst it's ever been here, the customer service has been totally unacceptable. If there was anywhere else I could lay in the USA, I'd close my Betfair account.

It's not fixed. I am getting pictures OK but they go off,usually in the middle of a race. I can get it to reload for the most part generally after they have passed the post. Tbf the pictures are of much higher quality than they were but please don't tell them it is right. It ain't.

Are you using Chrome Darlo and Salmon? I've switched to Firefox and haven't had any problems in the last two days.

Firefox. It works very occasionally. I'm switching between videos until it works. Most of the last few weeks it works second time. Tonight, no. I've managed to get two races, the other times I've just given up.

It's ridic frustrating, I know there are streams elsewhere but the issues I had here were doing my nut in.

Get in touch with them Darlo and Salmon if you've got time, it's the only way anything will be done, you might have to keep knocking but eventually you'll get someone who will do something.

It seems people aren't telling them that there are problems, twitter has been recommended as the most effective way to point out issues, I don't know if anyone here uses it?

I have found that all videos of any sport seem to stop after a few minutes unless you open them in a separate window, which isn't possible with US Horse Racing.

I am on IE. Can't get it at all on Chrome because there are issues with the flash player which I can't resolve ( I'm a punter not an IT expert ). I used to use Firefox but that has developed all sorts of issues in the last couple of years.

Like everybody else I got nothing last night. I am now only betting on races on ATR until they get it sorted out.
And I don't care for Saratoga or Woodbine so I probably will only bet after 10.00PM.

I've rung the helpdesk. The guy was sympathetic but whether anybody with any clout will get something done is another matter.

There's nothing listed at all for tonight. Then again there's nothing but British horse racing listed for today or tomorrow. No greyhounds either, which is guaranteed that it should be on.

For me it was very intermittent last night but certainly not reliable enough to bet on non-ATR races and that was more of a guessing game last night as,for example,they showed some from Woodbine and not others. The truth is I am rapidly losing the enjoyment I got from playing the US nags. If it goes on much longer I shall stop. As at least 80% of my Betfair turnover is on US racing they are going to lose commission as I won't step up my betting on other things.
