Fav would have won even if the inside had,nt opened up.

Race 1 at DD is a strange one. The fav is a massive class dropper. A few shrewd bets went on the fav as early as 10.50pm. The early money at certain meetings on here is always a sign. 6 should win

WD layers. The 6 backers got their fingers well & truely burnt. It was never winning at any stage
One thing to take forward from that race is that Rulers Star will not be winning a race over 5 furlongs anytime soon. That was a bad lot and it couldn't get any closer than 5th.
we have a decent fav in the next imo , im betting it and saving on 7
hammered into 1/9 on track now , evens looks big now
it will sit off the early pace and power home by 4/5 lenghts imo , hopefully with 7 in 2nd
Yep 6 being backed like defeat out of the question. Am always wary about getting stuck into favs at Delta Downs. 1.76 is a little short for me - will sit this out I think.

Neil - I had a right good bet on the Ravens. It was 50% of my normal max bet but still a good chunk on them. I never greened out as I went to my bed just after HT with the Ravens well clear. Unusal for me not to green out. I couldn't believe the come back by the 49ers when I watched it next day on Sky+
wire to wire again at CT... Not particularly happy with the ride on the 5... Looked like he could have got busier a bit sooner...

Turned over again - this is worse than a lottery. Going to bed now having made £8 profit. Not long now before I can quit my job and become a full-time punter....
