That race at Penn turned out just like the form both horses had around Parx. I had NO bet due to the fav being so short on here. Anyone that took the short odds would have had a sweat. There wasn't much between on their respective Parx runs.
Neil - personally I'm having a big bet on the Ravens. I feel their team has more strength througout. I was very impressed the way they brushed Brady & the Patriots aside on Sunday nite |

Does anyone here ever bet on Aussie horse racing....? I had a crack last night and made a good few quid. Was still up at 7am which was not the best, but like US racing the form is relatively easy to read in terms of where the pace is going to come from, fractions etc.. and being able to bet in running is a big plus.....

Neil - The one advantage the 49ers have is that the game will be played in-doors. If the game was not at the Dome in New Orleans I would be going bigger on the Ravens.

Kriskin, from what I have seen from you on here, you are a very shrewd punter with tons of patience(the key to making any money), but I am shocked you are backing the Ravens big. The 49ers do everything better IMO. Having a QB that can run the ball in pressure situations is such an advantage when there is the immeasurable pressure of a SB. The Patriots have been flattered all season and were the price they were based on past achievements.
In 10 years, it will be a necessity to have a QB who can run the ball. I expect the 49 ers to win big and strongly advise against your bet on the Ravens with all due respect...! And yes, I was sweating on the 6 at Penn... Landed the money for me but not in the manner I expected.... |

Neil - I'm a big fan of Kaepernick but I don't think he can carry the 49ers in this one. The Falcons should have beaten the 49ers after being 17 - 0 up. I don't rate Matt Ryan & the Falcons.

As for the SB, I agree with to an extent with Kriskin that the Falcons are slightly flattered by their record, but their home form was so consistent that it cant be a fluke. For the 49ers to come back from 17-0 is a positive IMO, especially asRyan is very good at controlling the clock. The Ravens will need Boldin to have a lifetime best IMO. |

RB, better chance this time, a good few dangers to the 6. Its a no bet for me as 2.14 on the 6 seems about right, but will need things to pan out well and throughout...
