Locals tips at Gulf r2.
AMIRA'S PRINCE was the easiest and most impressive kind of winner in his U S bow, circling the field while confidently ridden to victory by Johnny V.Steps up against much tougher but looks like a good one around three turn s. H O LY INVADER back to the grass for only the second time but figures to have things his own way on the front end a long way in this contest. Held own against in fo rm stable mate Swagger Ja ck in last, the latter returning to d e feat N3X co. on T h u r s d ay. C A P I TAN FUTURO lagged at rear of pack off a slow pace, could not kick on with winner when second best at 3-5 in his local bow but another Euro-invader with a ton of talent. Adds blinks but does lose Velazquez to preferred choice. ---------------------------------------- 1 CAPTAIN FUTURO will be outfitted with blinkers after rallying strongly to finish second in his local debut vs. similar at 11 furlongs. Trainer Graham Motion secures the services of jockey Joel Rosario as John Velazquez sticks with 3 AMIRA’S PRINCE. The son of Teofilo is stepping up the competition after responding to the addition of Lasix with a $25,000 optional claiming victory in his North American debut here at 11 furlongs. Trainer Bill Mott is 20% with horses winning consecutive races. |

I can't have the #3 in Parx....not sure the horse stays this trip. I like the #7 but the jock is slightly offputting. But hopefully he takes it to the lead and comes home alone. Anyway lay the #3
