Zia race 7
There is one line on No4's card that makes him a 1/5 chance. There is another one or two that make him a 6/4 shot. The other dozen or so make him a 4/1 poke. He can win this no doubt but I prefer to look in another direction. It's about 7/2 coupled 1-3-5. I like No3 the most at the odds but have taken them all.

I can see merit in 5+6 and 1st time starter No2. That said I like No10 who has a sneaky wire to wire chance at 7.00+. I am saving on No11 at 22.00+

betting in Maiden Claimers at Tup and Zia is a dangerous business alright! seems like just about every horses has its ears scrubbed off out the gate and whoever is least nackered wins.
looked at that 2 for the place as well but wouldn't have it cos trimble was on . did a better job than stevens though
Justin Evans use dto train the 2 and has been in good form but over 6f most recently. he has the 5 and 7 running against it here. I think the 5 will be too good, its lightly raced and can improve further I'm sure. Something feels wrong about this race though if i'm honest so i'm keeping the stakes small.

looks a really good horse. Wish I hadnt been put off by the market as much as i was. Yet again it seems to be all traders manipulating the prices, theres zero correlation between drifters/losers
how harsh is the price on this 2 horse at Tup? 5-1 on course currently and 25-1 on here. that stinks a bit for a horse whos won his last 2 over C&D!! small place bet on it.
running style of the 12 at Zia anyone? I@m tempted to take it on, stall 12 isnt ideal is it surely? plenty of horses in here that could improve any amount.

yup thought so, ridden like a quater horse didnt get the lead, game over. boom.
Dutched a bunch of bigger priced horses at TUP, not a race that appeals much but it will be any one of 2,4,7 or 12 for me.
adding the 1 horse into that crazy mix. worked out just below 3-1, seems fair for small money

sorry bout aftertiming but had 7 there & cant figure what jockey was doing, was counting winnings as they rounded the bend!

I think the race sets up for a stalker/closer. No9 has he right style but isn't that talented. No8 has too but she has to rebound from a stinker last time. No6 met an improver last time and although well beaten, was miles clear of the 3rd. I was hoping for bigger than 4.50 but it's big enough for a wager if not a massive one.
