we can safely say that the front is the place to be tonight at Penn
By:
damn it thought 2 would fade and 5 would pick it up
Thats a hell of a time that horse has put in on sloppyish conditions just pace pace pace tonight those early fractions he set should have meant he was toast up the straight |

Chas R2 the 7 is shorter than I had anticipated, backed 5 laid 7, gl all
By:
Penn R5 very much with the 7 should be far too strong for this field
By:
5/7/10/3 super at CT for me
By:
heck of a lot of pace on here at ct
Fancy the 7 to be sitting off the back and sweeping through late on big place bet the 7 with a reasonable win bet to hopefully pick off all the pace |

playing the 1a at Penn
Have a feeling 7 might do a zebeedi tonight off a very gd run last time 1a looks clear 2nd best and imo doesnt have an awful lot to find tonight |

Catch you all later.
See you 2moz. |
By:
Thanks guys was a bit strange were you expecting him to be up with the pace early cork
Have to admit he allowed 1a to steal a march and got going late I think he would have got beat further tonight though if he had gone from the front with all the other pace tonight but can understand why you might be shall we say puzzled |
By:
just think given the horses usual run style it was odd that he allowed the horse to drift back to last before deciding he needed to make an effort, never mind nothing is going to change it now, onwards
By:
5 has got a lot going for him tonight at penn decent place bet and decent win bet nice profiling
By:
Penn R6 not keen on this race, small on pace 7/9/12 for an interest, gl all
By:
taking a stab win and place on the 6 at CT dreadful race but he might have a decent chance up at 6.5f
By:
wd pro, turning into a good night for you...!
By:
v gd cork thanks 5/6 and a 2nd place at penn
By:
Cork you were advised as to a solid system at penn. DONT BACK there not unless you are in .How many times do you see it .Forget about form at penn.
By:
towf, quite happy to take the good with the bad, the Penn has been consistently good to me over a long period of time, so the occasional bad one is not going to phase me
By:
Truly you would gain alot more success at looking at the jockeys going to post at penn as explained before.Whatever experience you may have had this is a proven way .
By:
got a lot of love for the 6 at penn win and place tonight have had a saver on the fav the 5 horse
By:
towf, with my eyes I'm lucky to see the horse, absolutely no chance of reading the jockeys movements...!
By:
Towf Gov and Cork do really well at Penn and consistently make profits I accept you have some knowledge but they have some as well.
I have gone 5/6 there tonight and that isnt unknown either |
By:
wd pro 6/7 and flying high, that was a very confident ride from Whitney, knew he had 5 beat a long way out

I was passing on vital experience from having been a jockey there.
No doubt there is some advantage in the study of the differences of different barns but trust me you will find it difficult to get a consistent angle on it because their horses are not allowed to run to form.Simple as that. |
By:
towf I respect what you have to say but people like cork and gov who is my brother have been winning there for years.
He has passed on traits to me angles that most of the punters on here wont look for am not saying he or I know as much as a jockey having said that though. Just it works we have no inside knowledge just study and flair now 6/7. |
By:
not knocking you towf, sure what you say is true, but when you find a course that is profitable for you then it makes sense to stick with it, thats why my betting activity is limited as I only play Penn, Mount, Chas on a regular basis, not everybodys cup of tea but it works fine for me
By:
Actually i am not going to be modest my brother is pure mustard at Penn nobody on here better than him i do think cork is his equal as he tips up the same horses
![]() |
By:
you are to kind pro, we all agreed a long time ago that gov was the original number one and would always have that mantle as his strike rate was second to none there, I have no trouble being known as his apprentice, though I'm probably the oldest one around...!
By:
Well pro think about how cork does make a profit .Its because the hot favs do not preform and therefore the bigger priced horses win so it adds up to the same thing but not quite as if you are backing horses without form you will lose.So stick with cork if it works dont fix it.
By:
Unfortunately, we have guests staying so I have to go and entertain (provide drinks...!), hopefully you'll improve your score further still pro, will check thread tomorrow to see, gl & gn all
