Good evening everyone, nice peaceful night ahead for me so thought I'd make the effort to start the thread rather than join at midnight...!

Depends on whether Mike Smith can ride a trouble free course on it, too short for my liking
Just not good enough, pretty poor looking Grade 1 to be honest
Evening cork .Think it was poor from smith there as he had enough horse but found the trouble that he normally does.The winner has a good record but still think the best horse finished second.Not talking via my pocket as had a small bet on cease and it ran well .
smith was his usual useless self; found trouble in running and was characteristically weak in the finish.
Penn R1 moving swiftly on to the classy opening maiden at Penn, the 6 is market fav surprisingly, didn't think there was much between this bunch so no bet for me, gl all
Backing in penn as stated before is a waste of effort .Forget about form at that track .I worked there.
Hi Kriskin, MP looks difficult to me tonight, one possible so far, what about you, think it looks hard...?
Cork - It's a hard meeting tronite. I fancied 8 in the 2nd but it's now a NR. I'm taking a chance in Race 3 with horse No.6

Thanks Theonlyeayforward-strangely enough the winner is the only horse who I have ever followed religiously stateside.Saw it make it's debut and decided it could barely run.Anytime it has won it's been very hard to get a bet on it but when it drifts badly forget about it winning.

Did you see the race Moneypenny -Carberry gave him a front running ride-was very surprised by that.

see it went off at 7/1. i took 12sthis morning. must have been a few bob for it.
think the horse needs real good ground to be at its best

it had 16 attempts at trying to win one strange they went for that race but well done to them as i would not back it at 200/1.Ha.
All races at Mount tonight now on the main track
Cork - the horse I fancied in Race 3 at MNR is now a NR. Races are now OFF the Turf

Taking on the 1 at c/t.Recon he is priced on his old form but he has not shown up as good recently .Dodgey race so small lay as can not split the three that i like.
Chas R2 doesn't look to be any real pace which means 5 could get the lead by default, could be very messy as they sprint for home
MP R3 had to lay Parker at the price, horse has only run on dirt twice (without distinction) and appears to have been kept away from it on purpose, backed 1 gl all
Cork - I've also laid the Parker beast. I'm with u but there seems to be plenty of confidence behind it with it's price. Hopefully it's just the Parker abckers
That was fairly hopeless, have to wonder why it had been kept off the dirt on that performance
Cork - a trainer once told me when the all weather track is sloppy it rides closer to the Turf than a quick dirt track

MP R4 this was the only thing I originally picked out on the Mount card, with the 6, gl all

Penn R8 dutched the outside pair 7/8, the 7 should have improved from its first try and hasn't got that much to find and the 8 is dropping to an easier assignment
That was some winning move from the 3 who had come from Calder but hadn't run for 278 days, shows how bad the rest are, their trainers will do well to get a win out of them on that showing

Well i could not back this fav in mount so i layed it.
Sentimental bet on the 8 at Chas with "Erik the Great" on board
A 3rd at Penn and a 2nd at Chas, not too bad a finish, Montano got his 4th of the night at Chas in that one by the way, gn & gl all
