Henan won easy and was going away at the finish.When my folks get their insider info
the race is really already over before its started. All the 'intelligent' layers can only bow down to my folks and accept they are only amateurs at this game. My folks tell me only the insiders make money at this game and I give all the insider info to you lads well before the race starts. Henen won easy. |

Is this early finish for ATR studio a permanent thing I wonder. Before anyone posts that the programme is better when there is nobody in a an UK studio giving their views bear in mind a few things:
1- Turnover on here has to be better when there is someone on TV previewing the race - no matter how poorly or wrong they are 2- If the production is from The USA, we'll get more and more harness racing as they seem to love it 3- The early finishes may be the thin end of the wedge. Someone at ATR may start thinking why are we covering US racing at all as we do so little of it these days. |

As you'll know they've moved out to Milton keynes, so perhaps the new early finish is to allow people working there more time to make there way home since most will live in london. Hopefully it's a 10pm finish as people adjust to the travelling? in respect oif your points: 1 - Turnover is greater when there is a presenter simply because of the time, the later it gets the worse liquidity becomes as you know, If there was presenter there until 2am on a thurs eve/friday morn do you think you'd have any better luck getting a bet on PiD R6? doubt it tbh. 2 - TRNI controllors do love their harness racing, cant argue with that. I tend to use Betamerica for my pictures regardless but obviously no libve pics in the lead up to a race affects the liquidity significantly since the timings are not accurate most will rely on the ATR feed to know whats coming up next. 3 - I have no idea what the contract deal is between the US tv guys and ATR. Is it similar to OZ where we supply them with pics and we get theres in return? seems doubtful. clearly there need sto be something in it for ATR. |

I never watch ATR is I am honest.
Just watch on betameica and a few other sites. It tought me to be more focused on studying etc. |

just to add to that: I prefer it when teh ATR presenter leaves the building because we then get more meetings. This policy which was introduced a couple of years ago of giving more quality production by concentrating on 2 or 3 meetings max was a rue to fit in more ad breaks.

I think when ATR are taking the coverage people get very p1ssed off with all the features they show day after day.
