By:
best thing to do lucky is to switch it all off when it gets like this.
Thats what im doing mate come back tomorrow |
By:
very true, once you get that knot in your stomach best to finish business for the night & come back again with a clear head.
By:
thats exactly what i have dave!
By:
I can take losing but I find it hard to stomach cheating and in my opinion that is what happened at Sunland.
By:
the knot or the empty head flight...?
By:
all about the knot corky
By:

Evening gov, did you see that old rogue "Corky Stone" finally broke its maiden on Saturday night?
Any ante post vouchers on Synchronised for the National? Colleague on the dogs has it at 40's and was over the moon when it was declared a runner, some feat if it manages it. |
By:
cork, the rain here has been heavy for days, and were expecting more. ground may be heavy all over if it carries on.
By:
Shame if it ruins it as a spectacle AJ, bad ground always brings the "ban the national" mob out in force
By:
lucky, I wish had an alternative to No4 as he's very beatable. He was one paced late over this trip last time and a speed horse with limited ability held him off. No10 is better drawn than when a poor 8th last time but he's a reach. No4 may improve for the barn change but at 1.55, not for me
By:
If they give that to the 4 I shall give the game up !
By:
layed 7 tup , gl
By:
thats better, chin up lucky, you know its swings and roundabouts with these types of races, you have to factor that into your plan/strategy, admittedly to lose 3 photos was gutting but not that unusual.
I always tell myself better to be that close and lose, proves your study wasn't far off the mark, than to back 3 and not see them in the same picture as the winner, because then you have to question the work you put in |
By:
Corkie had a quick read through the posts of the last few days gd old corky stone was it after 29 or 30 races
