unland Park Race 10 (11.30pm)
Maiden Special Weight - 3 year olds and upwards - 1 Mile - Dirt

Plea Agreement (4) makes the often productive move from Southern California to New Mexico. He had only two starts in The Golden State. In the latter, he finished a close up 5th in a very productive maiden at Del Mar. He may be a dot on the card facing a beatable group of horses who have been racing locally. There are two big issues. The first is he's unraced since July. He has done plenty of work and is in good hands being trained by Todd Fincher. The other problem is the surface. Both his races were on turf. No matter how they work on it, until they race on dirt it is still a worry whether a horse will handle the surface change.

The place horses from a maiden run here this month all return. The winner was Steve Asmussen trained shipper who dotted up at odds on. The runner up in that event was Tap The Gold (11). He's consistent but always vulnerable to an improver. The 3rd horse in that race Alert Rocket (3) doesn't fit into that category. He's exposed although there is some mileage in using him in the underneath spots in the trifecta or exacta. The 4th in the same maiden Top Over Achiever may be a better win chance. He goes for an in form barn and this 3 year old is unexposed at this trip.

Tranquilo Amigo (5) and Hometown Willy(6) were both entitled to improve off recent comeback efforts. The former has only ran once in a maiden over this trip and caught the eye in no uncertain terms. Hometown Willy was coming off a near year lay off when runner up in a sprint maiden last month.

Alexandrathegreat (10) has looked devoid of talent in two career races. They were sprinting and he's bred to be a router top and bottom of his pedigree. Now getting his trip and an encouraging work, he may blow up the tote board. Here Again (9) is by the same sire and may find it easier to stretch his speed out going route fractions.

Sun R11

The 11 won't get a better chance to wire the field than this, only pace pressure should come from the 10 so Perez should have no problem doing his own thing, just needs to make sure he has enough left for the final furlong to hold off probably 3 & 6, gl all
