A few years back there was a very funny commentary - a horse with a peculiar multi-syllable name and the commentator kept changing the pronunciation during the race - it was hilarious at the time.
There are funny commentaries currently on you-tube  but I've not been able to find this particular one.
Does any recall the name or have a lead please??

The race caller was Larry Lederman who was standing in at Philadelphia (now Parx) at the time. The horse was called Kashagawigamog or something like that.
I have looked myself over the years and not found any reference to it on the net. Maybe ATR have kept it in their archives so an email to them is not a bad idea.

Good idea Mr.Q - thank-you muchly ; we watched it on ATR, quite possibly a Matt Chapman evening. Your attempt at the name is very much in the right style. Good man!
