HAW R7 value for me;
No 1 at 10.5 - excellent price No 4 at 65's No 11 at 100's+ - a real outsider, but still WAY overpriced No 12 at 23's also way overpriced - should be 8's Clearly you can't back the field - but the above offers some real value opportunities for me ! WIN AND PLACE where prices prevail ! |

Taken 9 to place @ Sunland

Haw R7 This is a somewhat peculiar race with only two of the runners having posted a previous victory over the 5f trip, that said there is plenty of course form albeit at 6f plus.
Based on the previous race you need to be part of the pace or at the very least up close to it, my three against the field are the 2/5/12, the 2 likes racing handily and was outclassed over a mile last time, will hopefully sit handy, the 5 is a course winner and likes to go from the front, the 12 is pacey and is one of the 5f winners in the field, gate 12 doesn't help usually but might if it makes a swift exit. The other 5f winner is the 1 who I only discounted on its run style, likes to come from off the pace and from gatepost 1 and with 12 runners that could prove too much. |

SAM R1
No 4 at 28's is MASSIVE No 5 at 16's looks a bargain to me - should be about 4-5's ! Both WIN and PLACE |
|
By:
That time already, the delights of Sam H almost upon us, 1st race looks a real puzzler, going to try and get this 7 beaten, the 1 use to be capable and if half fit(and sound) could leave these for dead, so a lay of 7 back of 1 & 6

Christ I layed the 11 at Hawthorne, not quite at 100s,but.....

FWIW I laid the 10 fav at Haw and lost it IR on the bend and thought it was the one on the inside who got up....always easy after the event but how that was 2.7 on here (on form) beggers belief...
|
|
By:
Thes glasses are crap admittedly but I have watched 10000s of races and I was sure the 11 was the winner.
|
|
By:
if the stewards can't get a horse loaded they should make one of them run in it's place imo
