Returned from the layoff last out with a nice effort versus $10,000 competition at Gulfstream in which he pressed the pace early but was no match for the winner late and crossed the wire in second, beaten by 2 3/4 lengths. A repeat of the BRIS Speed rating he posted in that effort would make him a threat in this spot and the gelding was dominating in his only other start on the synthetic which came here last April when he defeated a field of allowance/optional claiming runners by 6 1/4 lengths. Trainer Joe Woodard wins with 28% of his runners moving from the dirt to the synthetic and 26% of the claiming races he has a runner in. Woodard (30% winners for the meet) will have John McKee in the irons who has won with eight of the last 11 mounts he has ridden for the conditioner. The gelding tops the field in BRIS Prime Power by over seven points and also possesses the best BRIS Class rating.

Sloppy ground means carnage who has speed of speed if theres too much speed when does it fold to a closer etc.

Will closers get there, how hard have previous races been on the horses, is it better down by rail or out wide, so much its boring me typing it mate!

Next race make the 6 a max place med win bet think the 7 and the 8 are doubtful stayers the danger imo is the 1 horse

Think 6 will be near the pace and outstay and outspeed the majority of these. 1 is a small danger so have had a saver on this horse who is at least bred to want a trip
