Penn is a lot more complex than the bulk of US tracks the track rides quite slow, so the pace angles etc come into play a lot more. I use Beyer figures to a large degree but they dont work @ Penn 70 % of the time!

Its tempting to keep betting @ Penn especially when you have the Ness barn with a few runners tonight @ Penn, they dont come much shrewder in placing horses

DD R2 must be one of the trickiest puzzles of the day to work out as there appears to be no pace in the field, was tempted to lay 7 as it looks likely to be found wanting over this trip but slightly to big in price so dutched 4 & 8

Penn R5 the 6 should be able to dictate its own pace but there should be a queue of horses ready to attack it from the last bend, have been swayed to back the 7 as it seems to enjoy its visits to Penn, is 2-2

Penn R6 a dire race complicated by not knowing how much improvement Ness may have eeked out of the 5, the fact that the 4 as an 11 year old looks as big a danger as anything else tells me to put the kettle on and give this race a very wide berth, gl with your picks guys

Penn R7 not keen on either part of the entry, would prefer 1a to 1, the 8 is having its first run at Penn and although not necessarily a negative is shorter than I would want to back it at. The 5's form has been boosted by the winner in the last race but they were a poor bunch, the 6 ran well enough on its first outing last time at Penn and wouldn't have been suited by the sloppy conditions so with improvement expected small win large place the 6 for me.

Penn R9 strange market, wouldn't of had either 7 or 9 at the head of it, someone obviously know's something or at least think's they do, sticking to my own choices probably foolishly, 2 & 3 dutched for me
