why do jockeys in the states always do that? cruise up to the quarters of a horse in the lead and then just sit there until the last 1/2 furlong. by which time its too late. you can't win if you're not in front

4 Horse med place med win at Penn
V trappy event this with horses coming off layoffs and speed pace pressured animals I am hoping the 7 the 5 and potentially even the 6 might help set the fractions for the 4 horse The 3 looks devoid with a years absence the 6 has a years absence to overcome dont fancy the 7 at this trip think it will get taken on early and fold The 1 is of some small interest but overall I think the 4 has the right profile low weight top jockey in Dana Whitney. Has run some decent races at the grade young improving horse its 7f race at parx was v gd beaten into 4th for a 75k race Will take a chance 6 will need the race more than the 4 horse |

Dick Clarke must have trained more winners at Prairie in the fortnight it's been racing than he did all of the 2010 season.
He was the top trainer for state breds in 2009 but was awful last year. |
