How will he be at three? We haven't seen enough yet IMO. Impressive in his return with a very fast closing 2 furlongs and galloped out well but beat nothing (they wrote the race for him actually). Every box checks. The only knock for me would be he doesn't seem to have physically grown up much since last year and for a runner returning that late after all the time off, he should have more flesh on him. May be I'm being picky but when you have money on the line I'd rather err on the side of being picky. Patience......jumping on now this early simply means following the herd IMO. WAIT. |
