Canadian and others - I am very sceptical indeed about how many people really make money betting (whatever they may say). Some may do well in the short term, but it is the long term that is vital - and IMO to consistently select enough winning bets over period of time is close to impossible. Horses are not robots. However if anyone is capable of what would be a truly amazing feat it could be Jas, possibly Spiller (and once upon a time, long long ago Jose Mourinho). Others may be above average; some may do well on a day or two or three - but one needs to be consistently way above average to end up ahead! Most bet for fun/sport - and those who do make the fortune are the bookmakers!

Mr Q could be - but he has evenings with all losers. He does have the sometimes longer price winner - true (which is brilliant when it happens) . Bluenose not sure. Many have had good runs - but long term consistency is very hard.

theres was 1 particular night this pompey was posting winner after winner,,,then he started getting heckled by this poster who was obviously laying his tips, his next tip was 20s on here .. and it duly hosed up ,, never heard from the heckler again
