jas speaking of the tote i was at turf paradise for a day out about four years ago . i thought that a horse in the first race was a good thing and i made up my mind to have $200  on it as my only bet of the day ( i was stopping over on my way to tombstone for a couple of days , the nag was early showing at 7/5 and even after i had my bet it was still 6/5 as the loaded , great i thought thatll do for the day . off they go and after a hundred yards the board changed from 6/5 to 1/5   . i never bet on the tote after .

Ive had that happen so many times as well  Doneit , tote is only a viable bet at the major tracks for me from now on.

the lad who was the valet parker at turf p told me he made enough during the racing season to go backpacking through europe for six months during the rest of the year . there was a ten  deep waiting list for jobs parking cars .

I know im transgressing but while i was there i rung home to find out how they were betting on here on one of the races . THEY knew and i was approached in the restaurant and warned about using a phone for betting purposes . mr gerry simms made me an offer i couldnt refuse . so as to speak . i enjoyed the day there though and ive been back since when the local golf was on .

The INSIDER INFO WON.I was away from my computer as I took the wife to see The Rite at the cinema.I thought Anthony Hopkins gave one of his best ever performances(actually better than the guy from The kings speech,but people always expect the best from Mr Hopkins and he always delivers) and is back bang on form(The other actors in the film where'nt very good)
