For the Champion Hurdle I think Binocular will win the race again. Henderson will have been prepping him to win one race all season and I expect an improved effort from last season. An obvious selection in what a competitive race on paper but I think this will be the last time people will be able to back him at 7/2 again for any race. Champion Chase I don't hold a great view. Captain Cee Bee will run well at a good price if the ground is riding good or better. World Hurdle - No bet race for me. We don't know how good Grands Cruz is, he could be the best 3 mile hurdler in the modern generation. Equally, Big Bucks is the reigning champion so and again has more in the locker. I think they are both priced up correctly. Gold Cup - I don't think Denman or Kauto Star will win this year, personally I fully expect Long Run to really silience the doubters once and for all by winning and showing that he's not just a flat track bully. Imperial Commander is a worthy favourite and I will be covering on him despite his set back earlier this season. Diamond Harry is the other contender but think he's better fresh first time out and Newbury does seem to be his track. Elsewhere, I think Smad Place is the one to beat in the Triumph Hurdle, Finians Rainbow in the Arkle (everyone seems to have gone off him since his run at Warwick but his jumping was generally very, very good at Newbury and they were educating him on what is a very difficult track for a novice) - he has Medermit to beat in my opinion. How does your portfolio look mate? |

WD Ocean. A few man bets in there. Do you bet with a points structure out of interest and who do you think will win the Cricket World Cup?

Medermit to me have had a decent wedge on him ew for the Arkle even now at 4/1 nrnb with a few firms think this is more than fair. His performance at Sandown was superb gd festival form be hugely gutted if this doesnt win, but am on ew at decent prices. Champ hurdle not had a bet yet will have a look on the day Binocular with the race make up of pace looks to have a major chance espicially after last year. However the form of that race doesnt look that strong.hurricane run could be anything, peddlers unbeaten so a tough race for me. Gold Cup am in Imperial Commander camp big ew bet as cant see it not making the 3, have also had small bets at decent prices on China Rock who could well run into a place. also Midnight Chase at big odds. Triumph Hurdle kept with Sam Winner bet him after he got beat at Chepstow his chelt form is decent ew Bumper Race like the Henderson horse ericht decent speed of his races looks like he will run a big race had reasonable bet ew. Cue Card in the first had some decent bets on this since he won the fto at Aintree convinced this horse will win, be as short as dunguib if it was trained by Nicholls etc. |

wd ocean the 8 had plenty in the stats going for him
Couldnt have punted it as hard as you did but well done nice touch. The 2 horse was given a ridiculous amount to do mind but both place bets landed for me so a decent enough result |

Yes I agree with Medermit, I wouldn't put anyone off him and will be backing him myself. I liked the Sandown run, but it's just my gut instinct is telling me Finians Rainbow could be the one. It's similar to when Tidal Bay jumped very novicey in his last prep run, before he jumped generally very well when bolting up in the Arkle. I will be backing both Medermit and FR, not sure what my stakes will be. I'm massively against Ghazio, unless it comes up testing he has to be too slow to win in my view. I think Henderson to be top trainer is a very good price at 15/8 as he has so many chances to go to war with and we haven't even discussed what he has up his sleeve for the handicaps. I don't think Nicholls will have more than 2 winners, his best chances are in the Triumph, obviously Big Bucks and Royal Charmer in my view. I don't fancy any of his old brigade (Masterminded, Kauto Star or Denman to do the business this time).
I agree Imperial Commander is a knocking EW bet in the Gold Cup, it depends on the ground for each day but the festival is starting to take shape. Ok Ocean, I agree Chris Gayle is going to click in a few games and basically destroy teams so they have to win a few matches like you say. |

swagger dont forget polllard.. he has ipl experience and destroy average bowling.. gl with chltenham..
gn all... |
|
By:
Yes Ocean I forgot about him as well.
Provided he settles in the race, I think Tornado Force will win at Wolverhampton in the 5.30. He should be around 4/1 in the morning but he could get smashed in the market. Any way Good night all. |
|
By:
Imperial I think handles any going so am happy with him.
Agree wouldnt write off Finnegans a lot of good horses use Warwick as a prep as like you say you jump at pace and you have to fiddle around there Didnt have Gerraghty on him and does have a major chance, just feel medermit is better and has a few lbs on hurdles form on him if not mistaken Agree swagger with Nicholls be surprised if kauto or masterminded win. Queen mother race could well be a shock this year havent bet anything yet but will have a decent look over the next week Gd luck all gd nite |
