The favourite checked off the heals coming off the back straight when it was tracking forward - if the fav had of tracked through smoothly along the rail (as it was doing), then it would have made it to the front, instead it had to switch around to the outside coming around the turn - lost valuable ground.

Ridiculous question - but why do the yanks class their tracks are 'sloppy' rather than 'heavy'.... Sounds pretty dodge to have a 'sloppy' track...
