Am looking at the pid race and thinking 9 looks obvious
However I am wandering if the race will be run to suit doesnt look like bundles of pace on here. For that reason have played the 2 horse win and place hoping for a slower race and him to have the speed edge gd luck all |

jbarnes tbh i was cursing him on the way around because he took a strong hold of a speed, but the way it pulled away on the straight suggests he knew exactly what he was doing!!!

On a quiet night it seems appropriate to reflect on this thread and the happenings upon it over the past fortnight.
Please feel free to pass straight on if you have no interest, I will not be offended because after all how would I know? In the last couple of weeks, we have seen the demise of two of the larger than life characters who regularly posted on this thread, love or hate either or both of them their contribution should not be underestimated. The majority on here are recreational players and whether or not they followed anybody's tips, other people's views helped them come to their own decision on whether to play or not, think long and hard about that the next time any one of you thinks about sounding off against another without just cause. Ultimately, as more people become disillusioned with this thread and drift away so liquidity becomes poorer which in the end will mean there will be little action on here unless its one of the Triple Crown meetings or Breeders Cup event, don't let this happen, save your energy for picking winners, everybody enjoy's a bit of banter but why do so many feel the need to go way over the top to the point where it becomes a vendetta? Perhaps that is the society we now live in, a crying shame, thanks for indulging my need to express my thoughts on what I see as a sorry state of affairs on here after many years of enjoyment. |

By:
same here tod as above had a decent play there, in reality the horse was quite a bit better than those so he obviously knew (or rightly thought) he could just sit in behind and wait for the home turn
still risky imo |
|
By:
tod, I took some 3.00 'ante post' but didn't take the 2.92 as I thought the layers would start knocking it out.

Cork - THEY WILL return (they always do)
|
|
By:
cork i havent been posted much on here recently despite playing a lot more on the us stuff again
the game is hard enough without having forum spats and just studying the form is keeping me busy, on quieter nights like this its nice to post with a few old (and new) regulars |
|
By:
cork they might play but not post, but personally is a shame no point arguing too much were all here to win
|
|
By:
very small 3 and 9 yava
good race this despite being over before you could say "and away theyyyyyyyyyyy go" |
|
By:
Cork, I used to catch many of the US nights on here. It is a pale shadow of what it was then (about three to four years ago). Very sad but the same comments were happening then. An averge night clocked up around 1300 posts and there was a lot of great banter and some cracking judges. It's a real shame that the idiots have spoilt what was a fun evening if you had a bit of spare time on your hands. hey ho, life I guess. Keep positive Jobs
