just thinking the 8 wont get home at Mth, but this is its first big test whilst the others have been in wars and it may be fresher..race to watch given its probably open to still improvement and I dont want to lay when tired and possibly confused...GL all

Hey all. Hey Kirty! :) Not afraid to take on this Baffert runner, Subsidized, in this upcoming Del Mar. Bought for $185,000...and risked right off the batr for $75,000 claimer? Sure it ran well next time and won, but then needed 3 months off. I am happy to lay at the prices. g/l

Del mar - do you guys see how the 5 was the favoured combination in the Daily Doubles? Ahead of the Baffert and other well backed one? Something weird with that... Adding to my lay of Subsized with a back in 5. Money talks!

GREAT CALL, pulgita. For the very first time in my life, I bet something blindly just on someone's say-so...and BOOM!!! I never ever ever do that....but hadn't looked at the race, but when I saw you actually had a 'price' on it...I was like 'ok....at least there's some though behind this' lol. What a great ride, too...hustled all the way around. Avg'd 9.16! :) brilliant.

I am going to use the DOREEN method for this next race: if Cost of Freedom goes off at less than .7 on the tote, I will retroactively bet it at 2.0 or higher on here ;)

no one, and I mean mean no one, is worth following on here
on the long run, I haven't "seen" anyone one here be profitable
anyone with pen and paper and a memory span longer than 5 minutes could tell you that

TC: I know someone who is. Go find my thread. I was well in the black on my 20 or so plays. I gave up after realizing it was pointless because after 4 'pats on the back' one bad call gets you ridiculed....but yeah....I agree, for the most part, nobody on here is making money. You do not have to believe me...but I am...but not on US racing.... Betting UK every morning using figures I have made. You would not believe how SILLY their system of '1 pound = 1 length' blah blah blah is.. lol Seriously. Ignore weight when betting in the UK, and suddenly the market seems WAAAAY out of wack.
The day a 1100 pound animal notices 2 extra pounds on its back...lol and I mean, if it CAN'T carry the assigned weight...it will NOT slow down some weird formulaic 1 inch per 100 yards nonsense...it will simply STOP.

I consider you more of an "occasional" poster on here (US Racing) TBH, posting basically your "best bets" of the day, not tipping virtually EVERY race as some do (which is in itself ridiculous).
I don't doubt you are making money, US racing or otherwise. At least when you tip, I have a fairly good idea where you are coming from based on what you post. The overwhelming majority on here are posting numbers. There was a 50 winner tipped earlier in the day. The problem I have with a tip/winner like that (or all other winners for that matter) is that I have NO IDEA if it was a brilliant piece of analysis or just a lucky guess.
I stopped posting tips for two reasons. Not worth the abuse when you get it wrong and liquidity right now is so poor, I can't possibly be helping out those who potentially take the other side of the market.
At any rate, best of luck.

tc - thats why I stopped, too. The liquidity on here once I started building my UK bankroll became an impossible obstacle to overcome. When I was a neophyte on here, I used to literally drool over the supposed 'value' on my choices.... but (as I noticed you said on here at some point in the recent past) its an illusion, really, if you are playing with any kind of REAL cash. I only touch US racing on BF these days when its a) a big race or b) I hear something from my contacts on the backstretch or c) I don't know any other way to play a race aside from laying an overbet/heavy fave. Aside from that, it has become impossible to structure US wagers with a larger bankroll...... Truly. Very frustrating, and not worth the bother when some crap race at Catterick the next morning will have far more money (and, dare I say far less informed money!) available for me to siphon off, at my leisure, 2-3 hours before the off. :)
cheers and goodnight.
