What exactly do people not like about it? I think it's fine a few extra features.

I can't understand how there is been such a major drop off.

the new forum is too slow. a chat room style way of posting would be ideal for the US daily racing thread. I suspect that many posters are like me. I have an eye on several markets at the same time and my bet will depend partly on price. As the majority of the liquidity on the US markets is always close to the off time. Waiting for such a slow forum to open then post is an unnecessary additional stress particular on busy race nights. So by the time I've got my posts ready to go the race is normally off or about to go off.

The current format would be ok if it was just as quick as the old format.

Someone should set up a chat room one evening and invite everyone along. i reckon it would be a different story. I don't think it will be long the new forum will have a negative impact on liquidity in the markets

Devlin - your post shows you missed the point yet again btw

If it ain't broke....a major plus of the original forum was it's speed of use, simplicity.

People don't like change at the best of times, changing it for something far slower (I often get connections timing out) was always going to turn people off. It's been the same for 8 years. No reason to change it.

Sunday is usually a decent turn out given no UK evening..

I think there must be a shortage of pencils and paper in the UK.

Anyone with a pencil and a paper, an ability to do basic maths and a longer attention span than a 3 year old child can figure out what has happened to a lot of posters on this forum.

Do the words cannon fodder mean anything to you?

This is just a simple case of the UK evening racing being on in the summer. it was similar last year. ATR cover UK/Irish until around 9.30 most nights at this time of year. I think we see numbers increase again come autumn.
