paradox, I don't wont to give too much away at this stage, however ironically, there is a horse running in the US on friday night in a group 1 turf race, which relates to the form of the horse that I have already backed. I will keep you posted.

May I ask the question if nobody minds. Just how many of you on here are from the US? The reason I ask is there's not a lot of form to go by??? (perhaps a website, but not the same as reading the racing post?)
this race at tup is alot more open then market suggests imo

What do you mean Oil? There's stacks of form on most of the racing - the race cards you can get from www.drf.com and www.brisnet.com, to name but two, leave the RP in the dust.
numerous websites with US form (brisnet for one) like the RacingPost as you say Oil.....people playing the US horses are based world wide imo....
Oil, click back on the US horse racing forum button, and you will see i have bumped Kagen's begginers guide to US racing.
on form this 2 at tup is a mad price at 5/2, seriousy quick horse this

if something engages the 2 horse early at TUP...its the mother of all lays..markets suggests that is the case..

Ye it wasn't to win under any circumstances if you know what I mean.
at least the jock on the 2 horse made minimal effort.....pleasing but they couldnt lay the horse quick enough in the final 2,3 mins before the race..
if the fav drifts here it is usually a bad omen...wd layers
it ran like the trainer sent on a marathon this morning. anyway!! on to the next one

tbh LordBobbin, I'm pretty clued up on UK racing, but I do get puzzled sometimes when I see a hore on the t0te at 3/5 and it's 6/5 on here. (yes, I know the t0te has a bigger overound.)

I don't think he does Overseas. Oil seems to know something about horses. Plus he can both spell and write in proper sentences...

dont think acosta was to blame, the horse just took ages to get going as it did on debut!
