arsenal looking at your system the prices on betfair seem to be off the tote altho i havent looked at all the races...the prices at indy for eg too big to lay..is this normal

Tony: My advice re: Morning line. COMPLETELY ignore it. It is made by come guy at the track, 2-3 days in advance, who generally knows less about the game than you or I. At some tracks (New York circuit) its not bad...at most tracks, its complete guess. Ridiculous.

book....I matched on avg, 2.38 overall. Not bad! (changed now, obviusly). My favourite thing to do - and I guess it just comes from years of experience here in Canada - is to predict the final odds on the tote.....and bet on here way before the money comes in. Its sometimes quite obvious, esp. at the smaller tracks..... 2.38 on a horse that will go off at a relatively legit 1.4 (on tote)? i call that long-term profit! :)
