Laying #4 TUP. Led the field a merry dance until home straight in similar company last time and then got caught. Can see same tactics being employed this time, but half a furlong further to go, so can see a closer catching her.

happy - it's not unusual - I back long-odds, so I don't expect lots of winners - just to win the percentages..... if you'd been around last week I tipped a few at above 40's, others at above 20's..... but that's the name of the game.... maybe I'm in the "lean" period :)

#4 has a lot of positives here, and I think he can wire the field. This is a weak weak race, and with a half easy lead, and a half decent ride, he should take some pegging back. I am saving #8 who looks a lively outsider. #4 and #8 for me. |
