Couldntbelieve my eyes and ears, clever people buying on a hunch? to buy or sell a stock.Obvious question they could have asked themselves was "can it really be this easy?",and of course the answer is no. I lived through the crash of 74 and watch the market regularly, and its best to go long or short over the long term [1 to 2 year periods}shorter if it really takes off etc. Once again these programmes seek out situations where you are none the wiser at the finish, those that know secets probably dont tell the masses how things work anyway.

I enjoyed the first episode. 2nd episode acts as a good warning to anyone thinking they can chuck a few grand in a spread firm and start day trading. The nurse and the ex antique dealer were something else.

If PENSION controllers have to realise cash to pay out to people claiming under new TORY plans .....then there will be a problem ...as stock prices will likely drp due to there being more sellers than buyers ......
SKY NEWS eeejjjiiitttts ....are not recognising that it is the TORY policies causing crash today.....IMO.

What you need to remember about markets is that units are bought in order to sell them for a profit at a later date. An obvious but often overlooked point. That selling will not wait for you to sell your stocks, you'll be left behind
You can't say I'm buying today regardless of where prices have been going and then selling at some estimated time in the future for a profit.
You have to choose your time to buy and then sell when market conditions tell you to sell.
Successful traders never forget this and respond immediately when they see a change of sentiment in their chosen market. That's how regular profits are made in the markets.
