The real reason Trident came to Scotland...

Portsmouth lost out to Scotland again on Trident as happened recently with the warships. In both cases it was to stop Scotland getting independence. Check out this link http://www.sundaypost.com/news-views/scotland/west-coast-oil-boom-was-blocked-by-mod-1.151449.
This backs up a conversation I had with an geologist in the 1980s. We were on an oil drilling rig in the North Sea. I asked the geologist how much oil was in the North Sea, he went on to tell me but pointed out that there is 3-4 times more oil off the West Coast than there will ever be in the North Sea. So I asked him why we hadn't started drilling for it and he says " because youse would f**k off and want independence. (He was an English geologist). So you can see how we get lied to all the time.
