hi, very new to this share business, never bought any in my life, i want to buy some in a company, and do a little trading, and advice as to who to use to do my dealing with?? many thanks for any help

The book by Robbie Burns called Naked Trader isn't a bad starting point. Early chapters treat you as if you know nothing at all, not even having an account with a broker or a share ISA with any providers.
I only wish the advice sections on not getting involved were printed twice.
And also the advice on when to admit you got it wrong and getting out should have been printed twice.
Still, you live and learn.
