All of you out there trading these markets (and I use the word markets loosely, very very loosely here) and are spending your time looking at earnings, cash flows or a myriad of other economic data and indicators or just simply trading with charts are……………..drum roll please…….wasting your time.
The words, not even the actions, coming out of the mouth of two unelected men control the world markets now, and have been for some time actually, it's just that now it's become obvious to everyone, even to the uninitiated.
And one of them after having enough time to take vacation, all of a sudden discovered that he is too busy to attend the most important central banker meeting in the world.
What's it mean?
No QE3 hints out of Jackson Hole. Brent is over $100 and food prices are skying, his hands are tied.
No approved sovereign debt buying scheme at the ECB until after the German Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe delivers it's decision on the ESM.
Then, he'll monetize all sovereign european debt despite the fake protestations (yes, fake) from the Germans and their satellites. Ireland, Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal ALL printed already with the ECB's permission with nary a word from the "hard money, inflation conscious" Germans.
He'll print because he has no other choice and PRINT IS WHAT THEY DO.

Btw would anybody else care to tell Menelaus that he has already quite forcefully made very clear his opinions about the money printing policies of the world's governing financial policy makers, and that the markets are pretty much aware of it all and have priced in this generally available info, and so perhaps it is time for him to move onto perhaps a more interesting and not so well known subject. Somehow I don't think this deeply obsessive fixation he has with this open secret is a wealth generaor for him thus far. I would like to use the analogy of my doctor. He undoubtedly knows much more about medicine than me but this hasn't made him any personally healthier than me ( quite the opposite in fact).

The only thing I'm a bit worried about is that I am in fact the last remaining reader of any of your threads, in which case I really am talking to myself.
