Melly Burger to close
The Brixton hole in the wall buger joint- Melly Burger will close its doors at the end of this weekend according to boutique burger flipper and owner, Melly Melanus.
Mr Melanus, a former CEO of a London Investment firm that went belly up following some bad calls by Melly,
stated that he felt it was time to close Melly Burger as there were simply no more funds to continue.
" I pretty much lost what little I had left on a AUD trade this week, Mr Melanus said " I went short just to try and shut that bloody aussie up, but unluckily the damn thing exploded to the upside- I'm wiped out."
asked to explain further a dejected melanus went on " I was under a lot of pressure actually, a year or 2 ago I bet the farm on a hyperinflation call,
the same one that i lost my boutique firm on,
and that
has not happened.
I stockpiled a truckload of liquor chocolates, nylons and tampax hoping to re sell them during the crisis.
The chocs went off and when I tried to sell the nylons and tampax to women
on the street in London I ended up getting arrested.'
Thats how I ended up at Melly Burger, I needed to re build my capital for trading. But things conspired against me again, I told people I went short AAPL but I closed out before I made a profit. I started buying tampax again after that. Then I bought gold at 1680 and held it to 1523 where I closed out.Only to see it bottom at 1522 and reverse back to the upside.
Another consiracy against me.
I got really dark when I saw Mrben and others making huge profits on the AUD so I thought I would show them how smart I was and shorted it this week,be buggared if it did'nt go up 70 basis points, it took what little I have left. "
" But surely you can borrow against your french villa Mr Melanus?"
"Yeh, tell the truth that was a fairytale of mine, a dream I had.I never actually owned one."
What will you do now, after melly burger closes.?
" I hope to get a few hundred by selling the grill and stuff and then I will use that to make my next play, theres hyperinflation coming you know! "
