First, the reporting so far today has been overwhelmingly in support of the BoE's latest Keynesian madness. It is supposed to be good for us and exactly what's needed to revive our deteriorating economy. It's a lie. It's theft, that's what it is. It's stealing from every British saver, every British pensioner, every British person earning a living in the real economy to................support the banks. That's what it is.
Second, the reporting around the Greek "rescue" plan is scandalous. It's not Greece they are trying to save, they couldn't care less about Greece, it's the banks they are trying to save and ensure that a failed concept of a common currency gets to live another day. Greek society is systematically being pushed into poverty and destitute to support this "grand" idea but all our press is focused on selling the lies coming out of the eurocrats and the IMF.
And lastly, may Steve Jobs rest in peace with the good Lord taking him in his arms, but you'd think reading the British press this morning that the Messiah passed away. I don't doubt Mr Job's massive contribution to changing the world we live in through his vision of what role technology should play in our daily lives but let's keep things into perspective. He had his human foibles like all of us. Not a word in the press today about his dictatorial, often abusive, and certainly vindictive style if you crossed him. Not a word about putting so much pressure on some of his software designers to cause them to take their own lives (I'm not talking about Chinese workers at Foxconn), not a word about jumping the queue for a liver transplant leaving others less fortunate to wait, not a word that despite amassing an incredible fortune his personal contributions to charitable causes were token at best. Mr. Jobs was an immensely wealthy man with a vision, but not a great man.
No wonder the British public has been totally dumbed down.
And why do you feel such a strong urge to counter balance the overwhelming mass of plaudits being deservedly heaped on Steve Jobs. Perhaps a dash of envy ?
