Constant doom and gloom talk on all the stations whether it be here or other countries must have an impact.

Of course it doesnt create the financial crisis but adds lots of fuel to the fire imo

Constant doom and gloom??? Where??? Did I miss something???

The media is a Gov't/Big Business propaganda tool. The only reason they exist is to shape your opinion. We have been in a crisis and a deepening recession for four years now. THE BANKS ARE INSOLVENT. THE ECONOMY IS GETTING WORSE AND WE ARE STILL PILING ON DEBT. All I have been hearing from these paid shills the past four years is "green shoots", "summer of recovery", "better times are around the corner" and "soft patch". Now that the beast is starting to eat it's own tail, and now only, they've turned gloomy.

Why???

Because they are trying to convince you again through fear that if they don't give away your still unearned future earnings and your children's future earnings to the banks, the world will end.

Shut the b*@#@rds down and reform them. Let go through the pain now so at least British children can have a future beyond being debt slaves to a select group of banking elites.

well ive heard non of that

nobody in media talked about green shoots

ministers from past and present govt been shot down for mentioning green shoots

How about "soft patch", have you heard that? Or better yet, why don't we turn this thing around on it's head. Has anybody from the Gov't or the media tell you that the banks are insolvent?

I didn't think so.

All you hear is what they want you to hear.

By the way, did we ever find those WMDs that could have been deployed in 45 minutes?
Report xmoneyx September 23, 2011 4:18 PM BST

you sound very angry
Report Menelaus September 23, 2011 5:14 PM BST
It's you that should be angry mate especially if you have children. You've been lied to and stolen from and you don't even seem to be aware of it. Trust me when I say, they're counting on the public's ignorance and apathy.

I'm not angry mate, just sorry for you.

S/Y

This is off topic but please take the time to watch this video. This is how Gov't/Big Business (in this case the powerful nuclear power lobby) uses the MSM to disseminate MISINFORMATION to shape your opinion. Right here in the UK from one of our most "trusted" sources, the BBC.

The average borrower does not understand economics. They were egged on to borrow like fk by all media and all politicians. Actually most of them still think that house prices ar some sort of immovable object. I am still awaiting the price crash; mystified.

I think the public are being quite noble agreeing to bear all the brunt of this while Brown, the bankers and  all other politicians are trotting the globe larging it.

Wether the public will continue being so noble when the austerity actually starts meaning less food on the table for their kids if another question.

More riots IMO and the next one's won't be just for training shoes.

PS if I was Greek I would want the nation to go bankkrupt get ourselves of the hook, fk everyone else; I would say; us Greeks have been fkd enough first by our own rich people now by everyone elses rich. Lets see you all lose 20% of your wages see how you feel.
