anyone got these? i missed the boat like an idiot and only have £10k invested. kicking myself now. i know its old news but when they were pulled 6 months ago it should've been headline news. Its an absolute disgrace and is a very clear indicator of where we're heading. They were brought in 35 years ago to protect people's savings from inflation and this is the first time they've been stopped. All part of the uk goverments desperate last plan to bleed us dry to keep the knackered economy spluttering along. what's the betting they never return? im going 1.01 Sad

You can still buy gilts, which are RPI linked.

I bought a similar amount to you just before they closed shop, tried to get some for the Mrs using a pension payout she had, but too late.

im glad im not the only one standing on the platform! every time the RPI figure comes out next year will be like a kick in the balls!
