I heard Russia are buliding faloting vessel containg nuclear powegenerator capable of powering towns of 70,000. They are going to moor them off the artic circle  where they will open the oil fields and they are going to tell anyone who objects to fk off. They have already used used breaker to clear sea lanes direct to China.

If India makes deals with China which is logical as they are neghbours then the power block grows.

India will never threaten China I cannot ssee them ever overcoming the graft corruption and fatalism they are infected with. So to ally with the Chinese seems a good move.

The Yanks are quite capable of pre-emptive nuclear strike methinks. Prefering  the risk of death by Nuke to death by resource starvation. They'll say God told em to do it. Christians are top class genociders when they put their minds to it.

China are far more intelligent than our leaders. They are buying up everything the world needs. They are balls deep into copper, gold, silver, rare earth elements and much, much more. The west have always had the upper hand and ability to bully other countries but very soon, and we're seeing signs of it already, China will tell the US and anyone they're allied with to go f**k themselves and they'll do whatever they want when they want.

I just hope the UK has the sense to keep on China's good side and let the USA do what they have to do on their own.

For all Chinese to be able to buy a bike or live a US standard of living would require more resources than exist on Earth. It could be done by terraforming mars and sending excess population to live there and mining minerals and metals from NEAs,Moon, and Mars.

Either China or the west can have the lions share of the worlds resources but not both.
Why can they not share resources?

China will hold the majority of gold and commodities when the US goes into hyperinflation.

The only hope is America actually have some gold left. Many believe Fort Knox is empty.

Also, if China are producing rare earth elements and have stockpiled massive amounts of copper, silver, gold etc etc then they won't need to sell to America at any price. China are the new number one superpower. The world just doesn't know it yet.

jp23 you have answered your own question. All chinses people cannot have a high enough standard of living to afford a motorbike because the west will not give up enough of the resouces they are using to allow it. The west will not share. And certainly never on a per capita basis. The west will never accept a Chinese standard of living.

How long will the Chinese accept this?

China will happily sit and wait until OPEC and the Russians start asking for payment in Gold instead of Dollars for their Oil.

China and Russia have already agreed not to deal in dollars.

I wonder if they they have the wisdom to cut out the car, motor bike etc thing and go straight for brilliant nuclear generated electrically powered public transport?

I am not a Sinophile their human rights record is unacceptable. But then again we are very nice to ourselves but I think there is a question mark over our treament of the middle east and all oil rich democracy poor citizens of dictatorships.

But I greatly admire Chins acheivements and I think we greatly underestimate them.

I know we are prepared for eventual war over resouces with them. Don't think they know it too?

The world is in great need of wisdom here. Maybe we should consider letting China have the lead.
