Stay away from retail UK consumers are heavily indebted and/or jobless. Cost of imported goods is rising which will eat into profit margins. Stock market is tanking for a reason - it's massively overvalued.

Live4 U sense Exodus uk is unsustainable for businesses

It has to be the right type of business. Energy, agriculture, mining, manufacturing are the ones to look at rather than financials, retail, service sector etc.

Blinkx is my nap. Proven new business model, launching major products soon which have not been factored into the earnings and the only way is up !

By:
Thanks ![;)]
Think they will keep climbing over the next couple of years. Launching some major products in the next quarter which will change the face of intertet purchasing forever. |
By:
And not to gloat too much.
They went to 47p yesterday and I have just bought a porsche with the profits. Happy days ![]() |
By:

I'm in tomorrow for £1k's worth.
Anyone got nine other shares please? I've got £10k to invest and I'd rather take a punt than let the bank lend it out at 12% whilst paying me zip. |
By:
blnx has done really well for artadi,it looks to be on the up as he says, but i like income stocks as i started the thread with all have done well, unfortunately i sold cna at £3,i still like sbry and have added to my holding they are a bit risky but look a real prime takeover target.

By:
Well I just bought £500 worth of Sainsbury's. Shall go shopping there later in my new role as a shareholder.

very interesting are nwg it looks as though the bid will emerge soon, but i feel it wont be much higher than its present price, perhaps 370 or so,i did sell 30% of mine at 350 today,if they go back below 320 i'm back in.
By:
And the champion tipster is......
Me...Wooohoooo ! 13p to 94p in 3 months. |
By:
the beers & bubbly are most certainly on you. well done m8
By:
really brilliant,i see their up again today.
By:
Thanks
Already bought and drank them lol !Car bought, holiday booked and there is far more to come My guess is that within a year they are £3 or more in this rapidly developing market. 2 new products coming out within the next 3 months, both with monstrous earning potential. In fact, it may be that the 2 main names involved (Mike lynch and Suranga C) may have engineered a business masterpiece with the potential to outperform almost any previous British company . Just my opinion of course... |
By:
sold 15% of my sbry today ,i feel best to take some profit ,i stiil think a bid is more likely than not ,but might get a chance to buy back lower,if they go up further then i'm still on a big winner.(not as big as blnx though).
