I never really got into spread betting. Went to a few of the free seminars that various companies offer.

Its sounds to good to be true...what is the catch with these sort of offers.
Report Mrben March 16, 2010 8:00 PM GMT
the catch is you must deposit an equal amout b4 getting the bonus.ie depsit 500 get 500 bonus or similar .You can't play the bonus and then withdraw you deposit.99.9% of casino punters are desperates-I mean their is no chance to win and its games over which you have zero control, especially online, whichI regard as a total scam.
The bonus givers know that the punters will lose theor initial deposits as well. The only reason they don't offer deposit 500 get 5000 is to avoid drawing attention to the scandal of online casinos by the the authorities.
You see the same sort of thing with FX companies"trade with as little as 100$", knowing full well that 100$ is a mere donation with zero chance of making a profit. Its a good business strategy.

refering to my post 20:39

------------------------------------

The £750 Free bet in a hour

You have to bet 20 times your free stake (£750) to touch any of your winnings.

Thats 15,000 pounds worth in bets, with a minimum of 50 bets.

So if you make a 100 bets of 150 pounds per spin and you nearly break even (£500-£750) you get fifty quid in proper winnings.

If you end up with over £750 you get £200 in proper winnings.

There are many ways you can manipulate the table bets so it appears that your backing 150 quid per spin, but in realaity your only losing a 25 pence chip.

Its very important that you meet their requirements, or they will give you jack.

iicicci Arch, sooooo after you go in let the forum know how you went with it plz.

I did this. The trick is that they limit your bets to something ridiculously small like $1.
So they could give you a million dollars for an hour, or a thousand, it doesn't make any difference. You'll be lucky to be $5 up by the end of it.
Report The Investor March 17, 2010 2:07 PM GMT
Maybe this is different though, looking at what you posted above, but that is one of the tricks the casinos use.
Report backandlayboy March 17, 2010 4:06 PM GMT
some of the poker bonuses to so long to clear but if you were anything like a break even player you could make money. I was thinking spread firms like tradefair are offering £100 match and 3 trades and you can withdraw

Not v good, they said my betting stratgey was'nt in the spirit of their bonus offer.

When I challeged their decision, they quoted from their t&c's

In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by the casino will be final.

loololl Arch- do you mean your reluctance to lose was not in the spirt of the online casino! It was pointed out on one of these threads that casino games are linked in a continuous loop to your log in id and that each game is not unique as in start then end.On this basis a wipeout of any bank is absolutely guaranteed.I can't understand, in fact I will never understand why people engage in activities that guarantee a loss.If for entertainment at a small cost then fine, no worries, but to put thousand into an online casino account is delusional.-
Last year I put 200$ into an online corpaorate bookmaker who offered to double any deposit over 100$ on an ongoing basis.Put in 200 my balance was 400$ I think the condition was I had to turnover a minimum of 800$ in bets b4 I was allowed to withdraw anything.Needless to say I wiped out the balance nice and quick.Reason- apart from anything else the odds available were so skinny that even by backing a few winners the odds structure made winning a realistic impossibility.Nothing free Arch.Best of luck.
