For those of you who are familiar with elliot wave analysis and theory I'm interested to know if you make regular profits.?A few years ago I subscribed to the expensive elliot wave internatioal service.I also bought two expensive books on elliot wave I spent 3 months with the sevice and trialed real trades for 2 months.I lost on every trade .To me elliot wave is totally useless except for an academic interest in looking at what happened.
Over the last few years I have challenged a few elliot believers in person and over the net to guide me thru a profitable trade.I have never had anyone give me a profitable trade in REAL TIME.Plenty can tell me afterwards but not once BEFORE.Some have claimed a profitable trade after being down a long way then an eventual reversal.Wondering if any forumites have any similar experiences.

Technical analysts, as they call themselves, are expert after-timers. They make the horse racing forum look like amateurs.
I know hardly anything about this kind of stuff and haven't used it myself, but I do know that Paul Tudor Jones (one of the most successful traders in the world) finds it useful, so I wouldn't be too quick in dismissing it.
Investor-maybe you did'nt comprehend my ???. It is has anyoneone HERE used it sucessfully? Paul Tudor Jones has used it and he is one of how many that jack schwager interviewd?100/200 big time traders , so 199/200 did'nt use it.Based on those figures I'm happy to reject it.
By the way, statistically speaking.I backed had 20,000 bets in 20 years.I backed 2 winners at 50/1 or better, does that mean I should'nt reject the 50/1 shots?

seems there are no elliot profit makers here.Thats elliot wave dead and buried.

Constance Brown really knows how the market works, from my reading. She uses fibs and EW.
Cynthia Kase is the same. Various indicators and studies, but underneath she insists EW structures the market.
I've seen text book ew's play out in real time on eur/usd. On very short time frames (10 sec charts) as well. But it would take a lot of experience and skill to use it in isolation.
