wtf are u on about?

Sir Denis, never mind the bloke, along with YLB they've managed to turn this forum into the theater of the absurd. This is what happens when the X-Factor regulars transfer their foolish discussions over on this forum. Just ignore their nonsense.

(I say "they" because it's a question of time until the other intellectual dwarf shows up)

wow, this forum is crossing into the metaphysical

i thoroughly approve :D

i'm quite curious about when sterling/oil will retest the peaks

not too many care about sterling/gold outside of the finance industry or the wealthy, but sterling/oil will put the cat amongst the pigeons for sure, when this gets reflected in energy costs, pump prices etc for everyone
Report Menelaus March 3, 2010 12:44 PM GMT
Sub, you left the deflationista camp I presume?

(Good post BTW)

not too many care about sterling/gold outside of the finance industry or the wealthy

erm ...as its a reflection of the value of the pound in your pocket i would say everyone cares
Report subversion March 3, 2010 3:09 PM GMT
Sir Denis - i agree, everyone should care, but of course that isn't the same thing as saying everyone does care

so i guess, in response to your original post, it depends whether you mean 'newsworthy' to mean 'financial times newsworthy' or 'daily star/man in the street newsworthy'
Report YOULITTLEBOTTY March 3, 2010 3:55 PM GMT
More Man in the street people though just probably worry about Sterling/ Euro, because their holidays are coming up.
Report Menelaus March 3, 2010 5:09 PM GMT
Just at the precise moment when the tread shows some potential for interesting discussion, the forum's jester shows up.
Report YOULITTLEBOTTY March 3, 2010 6:24 PM GMT
My post does not impede in the slightest the progression of the discussion on this forum.
I agree, it does not really add to it, as it is just a throw away common sense side observation.
Grow up Menelaus. Stop spitting that dummy continuously.
