The tax payer is funding nothing!! Get a life. There are clubs out there that owe more money than Pompey.

My point is that the club is worth more in administartion than wound up! The tax man and hence taxpayer will get more money thi sway than the other. I have already explained why!

Chisel, the tax payer is funding the unpaid VAT/PAYE. This is money owed to the government (aka the british tax payer). It all goes into the same pot.

And if, by not liquidising the club and allowing them to continue trading, unpaid VAT/PAYE contributions continue to mount up then NO it will not be good for the tax payer.

I fthe club were wound up teh taxpayer would get sweet FA. In Administartion they will be entitled to a ot more!

I explained to the previous poster that if a club is wound up the players beconme free agents. They are not the property of the club. In administration they are!!
