ok had life assurance with old mortgage, got new policy now financial advisor told me to cancel direct debit.

its due to be paid tommorrow.

logged on yester day to cancel it which i have done, but noticed on my statmemt that its all ready out of account. statment does say 1st feb on payment date.

can i recall the funds as I canceled the direct debit before it should of been paid?

No you need to give a certain amount of notice and 1 day is not sufficient, your own issue.

my bank lloyds tsb taken it out on friday night but put it down as monday they do that for everything. think you should phone monday to get cash back

Yes you can. Phone your bank - it will be debited but has to be returned within 24 hours via a dd indemnity.

No they wont do it, even though taken out of bank days early.

Not a huge problem d/d is canceled now so wont happen again.
